Reaction Systems, Inc. was formed in May 2005 for the sole purpose of developing leading edge technologies. Our goal is to invent new products or processes and turn them into real commercial products. We do this by conducting cutting-edge, high quality research, securing patents on our ideas, and cultivating commercialization partners in the industry.
Reaction Systems, Inc. Lab and Services

Reaction Systems maintains a modern, 3500 ft2 experimental facility. We have four fully automated experimental chemical reactors that use National Instruments hardware and LabVIEW software for data acquisition and control. Product analysis is conducted by gas chromatography, mass spectrometry or on-line NDIR instrumentation. We can carry out reactions at high pressures and temperatures and the system automation allows us to conduct extended durability testing at minimal cost. The laboratory contains equipment to synthesize catalysts in a variety of physical configurations and to characterize important parameters including total surface area (BET) and active metal surface area (chemisorption). Other instrumentation includes a Shimadzu thermal gravimetric analyzer, a MAXIR FTIR gas analyzer, a Magna 35 KW power supply, a LeCroy Wave Runner oscilloscope, a Deltech 1800°C furnace, a FLIR Thermal Imaging Camera and a Fisher Scientific vacuum furnace. Reaction Systems also has the equipment needed to carry out light machining and welding.
